Many find Lightroom meets their needs just fine and they don't have to get involved with Photoshop it being more complex and a slower workflow. So having more tools it is not even remotely a contest Photoshop has a thousand more tools than Lightroom does. Lightroom is easier, more user intuitive, faster and offers catalog management and syncing ability.įor editing a single photo, Photoshop can do everything Lightroom can do plus a zillion other things.
Thanks so much Mreynolds, that all makes senseīetween Photoshop and Lightroom for just photo editing purposes - could you add why you like Photoshop more? From a superficial read it seemed that Lightroom has more post-processing tools, but maybe this is just something that's applicable for beginners?
